You play as members of the Nameless, a Gallian Army squad that does the dirty work of the army. The team gets its name because its members, mostly criminals and other troublemakers, refers to a number instead of a name.

The three main characters have a number and a name that appears in the journal. In the role of hero is Kurt Irving, No. 7, a former officer who does not believe that should have been relegated to the team without a name and want to return to his former team.
