Kratos could possibly be the most angry game character ever created. We all know that accidentally killed his wife and son in service to the gods, but his often belligerent attitude made me think what else could have happened to him to do so full of rage. We get an idea of this in God of War: Ghost of Sparta, who does a wonderful job adding depth to the character of Kratos' while offering one of the most fun and beautiful game experiences on the PSP.

Located between God of War and God of War II, Ghost of Sparta collected right at the end of God of War, with Kratos sitting on his throne looking suitably grumpy recently claimed. After all, becoming a god does not eliminate the disturbing memories of his past, but now is being affected by a vision that we have never seen before - a bedridden elderly woman on a stone slab. Convinced that can actually change this view, Kratos takes to the Atlantis on a quest that eventually leads him back to his home in Sparta and in the realm of Thanatos, the god of death.
